ECIF Transferable Skills

The University of Essex has been given funding from Economic Challenge Investment Fund (ECIF) to put together a programme of skills-related training and resources in Essex and Suffolk. The project will reach out to businesses and individuals (including graduates) in the region to help them maximise their skills and increase both profitability and employability.

Working with VentureNavigator, we have created an online skills assessment. Transferable Skills are abilities you acquire through work experience, as well as from your personal life that can be used in a new job or career. The assessment is designed to tease out what you should focus on when you write a CV or speak to a potential employer. It will also highlight areas where you could improve to develop a more rounded skill set and suggest relevant support and training.
