Many thanks to everyone who took part in the recent user survey. We have been busy working on your suggestions for improvements and we are pleased to introduce some useful new features to the service:
Messaging
You can now privately message other members of the service in the
Community area. This means if you want to arrange face-to-face meetings or share confidential information you don’t need to publish it in a public forum.
Simply click ‘Contact this person’ next to the persons name in the community.
Messages will appear in the message management in your
Profile and will also be sent to the email address that you registered with the service (you can turn this off in your profile if you wish). Additionally, a new message notification will appear in the top right of the page next to the
My Profile link if you are logged in.
This system will at no time reveal your personal email address to other users (unless you include it in the body of the message).
Login Removed
You no longer need to login to access the resources or view the community. It is still required for the assessments and for contributing to the community and sending messages.
Suggest Resources
The
Resources pages now have the facility for you to recommend resources to the service. Simply add a URL and short description of the resource and submit it for consideration.
