Do you think that free marketing workshops online would help you?

We are a small marketing company which provides workshops and masterclasses for councils and organisations who want to help their customers run successful businesses - with the public sector disappearing we were thinking about giving away all this material to people for free online. Do you think its a good idea and that people would tell people about it?
