The Biggest Successes are Often Bred from Failures

Randy Komisar, a partner at Kleiner Parkins Caulfield and Byers, describes his thoughts on success and failure in this 8 minute video. According to Komisar, what distinguishes the Silicon Valley is not its successes, but the way in which it deals with failures. The Valley is about experimentation, innovation, and taking new risks. Only a small business that can deal with failure and still make money can exist in this environment. It is a model based on many, many failures and a few extraordinary successes.

  1. This is absolutly true! People become successful once they have learnt to deal with failures.
    I am an entrepreneur and the most difficult thing we face is how to deal with failure.
    A successful business is the one that has dealt with difficulties in the past.
