If you can use maths to do any of the following, you will have acquired numeracy skills:

• Solve problems

• Do everyday mental arithmetic – adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, percentages

• Understand terms linked to the economy and financial transactions

• Understand web design or writing for the web

• Manage money responsibly

• Understand graphs, charts, statistical data
