What are your Ultralight start-up tips for cheap or free business resources?

We recently added a new blog post from our chief scrooge Neil with his rules for starting-up on shoestring. In it he encouraged wiki-meaness, sharing frugal tips with other business owners. So what are your tips for keeping the costs down and getting the resources you need for free?

  1. Buy domain names on www.godaddy.com and set up hosting to use wordpress. It makes creating a great website about as cheap/fast as sending email. Use OpenOffice or Google.com/docs instead of Microsoft Office to create your documents/spreadsheets/presentations.
