How to approach a trade show

We have a trade show coming up in the next few weeks, I was wondering if anyone has some tips on how to approach it. We are not exhibiting anythin but interested in promoting ourselves. I have access to people email throught the trade show database. would it be worth an email before or after the show?

what should I bring? Business cards, Flyers, press kit anything more?

Do you have any other tip? or valuable experience to share? the industry is the travel industry and we offer online third parties deals to consumers.

  1. Hi Alfonso,

    It’s not quite clear from your question - by “not exhibiting anything” do you mean you don’t have a stand but plan to go along for the networking opportunities or do you have exhibiton space? The advice is very different! Also, is this a consumer show or trade only?
