Does our website say operational excellence, Customer Intimacy or Product Leadership ?

Hi everyone,
I have just joined after a Doug Richards business seminar. one of the points was that as a company we have to choose an area where our company sits.

http://www.debugdesign.com

Does our website say:
1. Operational excellence,(cheap & fast)
2. Customer Intimacy (friendly & Supportive)
3. Product Leadership (high quality)

I think we have been trying to be all things to all people so feedback would be great.

Kind Regards

Ian

  1. Hi Ian,

It's quite hard to get a feel from a web site. Going by law of averages not many companies are true leaders so it is either operational excellence or customer intimacy. Based on the testimonials on the site I’d err toward efficiency since quick delivery and good price seem to be re-occurring themes. Is this where you want to be?

  2. I just worry that I first give them a great low margin price, be really friendly and attentive and strive for a high quality finish... but I got taken down a peg or two when mentioned it to Doug. I think I have a lot to learn...
  3. Hi Ian,

I like your work, but my immediate impression from the homepage was that it's like a blog. It may be worth moving alot of the 'celeb' type stuff off the homepage, and getting more of your work and customer testimonials up front. Do you want your site to say, "this is what we can do for you", or "look who we've met!"?

I hope that doesn't come across badly, as like I said, I do like your work!

  4. Hi Ian it feels more like customer intimacy - a very professional website - promises good not amazing prices and excellent service . hope this helps
  5. Thanks for the feedback so far, it's really useful and constructive. I will make some minor changing next week to help 'focus' the company position further. The feedback from existing client is good but maybe this is because they are current clients and not new potential customers.
