I have many so many talents and I'm broke - can anyone help me?

Hi Lizzie, I know how you feel, I'm in the same position. I KNOW my business will work and make money, but cannot find any financial help. I've been running it on a shoestring for the past 2 years and now can't continue because of cash flow problems and I need a van! I am a single Mum and also have to support my children, so my income is currently part benefits (which I hate, I have some pride) part time earnings from working in a call centre until 2am, and the rest from what catering jobs I can afford to take on. Yes, afford to do. Silly, isn't it? Just some useful help from someone would be appreciated, but then that'sanother issue, you can't afford to pay for that help!

How about providing some team building events for businesses? Not every employee likes doing the Indiaia Jones type events, like 4x4ing and archery. What about some craft events, personal scrapbooking, or making your own DVD with photographs, videos, music (copyright issues!) and voiceover? A company called Pilgrim Projects helps people to make their own DVDs under various themes. Hallam Faculty of Health and Wellbeing staff have used is with service users and people who have had traumas in their lives. -
Hi, I would be interested in seeing these personal DVD's, I think there is a good market for this type of thing. the only thing I would ask though, is how long does each one take to produce?

I know it has been a while since this was posted, But I feel you have one main gift that is your strongest point. It is the one that you have a passion for. The rest you can do but this particular one you will find yourself comming but to.(look back in your life and you will see that you might of taking some many breaks from this gift but you always come back to it). I find that business start ups achieve focus and direction when confronted with certain questions and solutions. you are multi talented and this is a gift from heaven. however, you must not allow the circumstances around you to put undue anxieties in your heart. i dont know how old you are but your type of mind takes its time to unfold itself. fear only prolongs the process. youve got to relax yourself and live at peace with yourself and others.

Please contact 'business link' an organisation funded by the government helping people like your self in starting up new businesses or improving existing business. They offer free advise and support they are located throughout the country just google it for your area.

The trick in these situations is to be clear about the things you enjoy as well as feel good about ~ and are tallented at! I would be very happy via email to provide some initial ideals and guidance on where to go from here if Jenny hasn't already.
