Where to register a theatre/ entertainment company?

I am setting up a theatre/ entertaintment company. However, before going through with it meaning, setting up a websit and marketting my brand I want to know if there are any other companies with my name and where should I register my company is the most important thing

  1. You will need to register with Companies House (in the UK). You can check if a name is available on their site: http://www.companieshouse.gov.uk/

    I suggest you contact the Theatres Trust as well (if you haven't already). They may well be able to offer you information / advice re. running your theatre.
